Market Applications Director, Fluence
Since 3 years I am leading Market Applications within Fluence Energy for EMEA region as Director. The focus is on new applications for stationary energy storage solutions within EMEA, working on regulatory barriers and driving storage as a flexibility asset to the next level. Now, the momentum in the whole industry should be utilized to accelerate storage as the swiss knife in the electricity grid even further. The combination of association work, industrial exchange, stakeholder integration and political discussions are my convinced working style for successful implementation of new technologies.Prior to joining Fluence I worked for Siemens as Senior Key Expert with focus on electrochemical energy storage systems in the Corporate Units and as Product Portfolio Manager for Storage Solutions. During this professional career I published more than 110 patent applications in broad range of storage technologies. My professional education was at Technical University Munich with passed state examination in Mathematics and Physics, a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and a PhD in Physical Chemistry with an academic output of 16 peer reviewed journal papers.
